We're looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to join our team and help us open our third US restaurant As a HawksmoorProduction Cook, youplay a key role in the smooth and successful operation of the restaurant. Youare responsible forconsistentlymaintainingHawksmoor’sfood quality and standards whilecompleting prep efficiently andworking closelywith the widerculinaryteamto deliver exceptional dishes and service. Demonstrate competent knife skills, including fish and meat preparation. MaintainHawksmoor standardsin all prepsand consistently follow recipes– taste everything and ensureaccurateness and excellence. Show a basic knowledge of food products and quality, including correct storage and shelf life. Maintain a clean, safe, well organized, and efficient prep environment at all times. Support Line Cooks or Porters whenrequiredto ensure smooth kitchen operations. Maintain a deep understanding ofHawksmoorbeef, suppliers, and sourcing. TeamEngagement & Culture EmbodyHawksmoorvalues with apositive, proactive, and professionalattitude. Seek out, welcome, and act on feedback from peers and managers. Supportotherteammembersduringprep,service, and breakdownand contribute to a collaborative team environment. Show genuine care forboththe team and theoverallguestexperience. Debrief and hand over prep notes and updates to the next shift via work chat and verbal communication. Health & Safety Adhere toall allergyawareness, cleanliness, and food safety procedures. Completeall requiredtraining andconsistentlyuphold hygiene standards. Followopening and closing checklists accurately and consistentlytomaintaina safe and compliant kitchen and prep area environment. Take responsibility for the clean, efficient running of your station. Ensureall prepand tools are stored correctly, labeled, and cleaned. Operational Standards Manage timeeffectivelyto support team priorities anddailyoperational needs. Maintaingood productrotation and understand par levels for service requirements. Recognize howerrorsaffect both guest experience andthe wider business. Compilenon-consumableorders for management asrequired. Receive and correctly store deliveries. Understandsandfollow stock rotationand storage procedures. Execute prep tasks efficiently whilemaintainingaccuracy and quality. Actively work to reduce waste and improve efficiencyin the kitchen. Physical and Mental Demands Mobility: Must be able to move continuously around the dining room, kitchen, and bar areas during the shift. Lifting & Carrying: Occasionally lifts and carries trays, plates, and items weighing up to ~ 25 to 30 lbs. Communication: Ability toclearly and effectively communicate with guests, kitchen staff, and management. Cognitive: Ability to process guest requests, manage multiple tables simultaneously, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moderate to loud noise levels consistent with a high-volume restaurant.
