Required Skills & Experience • Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance \n• Must have DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification\n• Must have 1, or more, years of directly related experience \n• Must understand cloud delivery models (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS) \n• Must have experience with implementing Cybersecurity best practices \n• Must have experience with enterprise server operating systems/environments (i.e. RHEL 7 and/or 8; Windows Server 2019 and/or higher) Nice to Have Skills & Experience • AZURE, AWS, and/or Cloud Certified Solution Architect Certification \n• Strong communication and collaboration skills \n• Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. \n\nJob Responsibilities: \n• Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions \n• Identify appropriate cloud providers \n• Ensure the cloud network is properly sized and responsive to user demands \n• Scale cloud services to serve growing demands \n• Liaise with business owners and/or stakeholders to determine growth plans \n• Monitor usage of cloud network \n• Implement effective security strategies on cloud networks \n• Implement fault tolerance, disaster recovery and failover capabilities Specialize in migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. \n\t• In doing so, will give organizations and business partners the freedom and flexibility to maximize their productivity while achieving additional cost savings to the MDA.\n• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines \n• Build infrastructure automation to ensure rapid delivery of system and application updates.\n• Carry out testing and fine-tuning to ensure optimal efficiency. \n• Provide architectural vision, strategy & roadmap and work with Engineers and Platform Operations staff to operationalize technology solutions \n\nThe pay range for this role is $52-67/hr depending on skills and years of experience.
