The Accounts Receivable Clerk position will report directly to the Controller and offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the growth and success of UPLIFT Desk, and provides significant career growth opportunities.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of NetSuite experience a must (please do not apply without NetSuite experience)

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Strong background in A/R and collections

• Working knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and procedures

• Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail required

• Ability to professionally communicate with customers regarding invoices and outstanding balances

Bonus Points For

• Some college or college degree

• Familiarity and experience with sales tax

• Experience with Google Mail, Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Docs / Sheets

• Ability to multi-task with a wide variety of customer needs

• Ability to work effectively under pressure

What You’ll Do

• Process high-volume accounts receivable transactions

• Perform billing and collections

• Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on past-due accounts

• Assist with customer credit application setup

• Collect and maintain sales tax exemption certificates

• Process deposits and post daily bank activity

• Apply and reconcile customer payments

• Research and resolve customer account and payment discrepancies

• Verify claims and process refunds

• Maintain accurate customer account records

• Support staff by performing assigned accounting and clerical tasks

Position Details

• Compensation: $25 hourly

• Type: Full-time

• Employee Status: Regular

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week

• Location: Austin, Texas
