Accounts Receivable SpecialistThe Techline Accounts Receivable Specialist is primarily responsible for applying customer payments, resolving discrepancies and making adjustments, performing customer credit checks, sending out monthly lien and bond claims, and communicating with customers regarding past due accounts and other duties as needed.Role and ResponsibilitiesUpload incoming cash receipts against customer accounts and resolve discrepanciesCollect on past-due customer balancesInteract with the customer/sales force to resolve outstanding issuesRespond to customer requests for invoices and statementsPerform credit reference checks on potential customersSet up new customers and projectsMaintain sales tax recordsEnter adjustments on the customer account for over or underpaymentsSend out monthly lien/bond claims and process lien waiversReport weekly on the status of past-due receivablesOther duties as assigned by the Director of AccountingThis position's responsibilities could grow as the employee demonstrates proficiency and interest.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred.
