A 4-6 month cooperative education program for undergraduate and graduate students in the Research and Development Division, focusing on discovery immunology research in Cambridge, MA. Students will work on projects studying novel targets in inflammatory and autoimmune conditions while developing practical laboratory skills.
Responsibilities
- Culture primary human cells and cell lines using standard techniques
- Execute CRISPR editing, biochemical assay development, and ELISA protocols
- Perform RNA isolation, quantitative PCR, flow cytometry, and microscopy analyses
- Contribute to projects investigating novel targets in inflammatory and autoimmune indications
- Develop professional networks within a diverse, multi-functional research team
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate student in biological sciences or related field
- Available full-time January through June 2027 in Cambridge, MA
- Basic knowledge of cell biology, immunology, or molecular biology
- Prior experience with mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, or immunoassays preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with 3.2 GPA or higher
- Proficiency with Windows-based computers, spreadsheets, and databases
