Registered Nurse First Assist– CVOR – Covington, LA

• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• End Date/Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Days
• Hours/Week: 40 5x8s
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in Louisiana, BLS, ACLS, RNFA Certification (required), CNOR (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years operating room experience

• Pay Rate: $95.05/hour

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt communication and care approaches based on patient age and needs.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient management.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure patient privacy and safety throughout procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using computer systems.
• Support the surgical team with necessary supplies and equipment.

Required:

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of operating room experience
• Proficiency with Windows applications and data entry
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing environments

Preferred:

• RNFA certification
• CNOR certification
