This is a visible role where fostering relationships and collaborating with teams across the company will be key to your success. While GP offers some work location flexibility, we have an approach that includes a weekly in-office presence.The Team: Georgia-Pacific’s Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) organization is responsible for sourcing and delivering the raw materials, energy, equipment, parts, finished goods and services our businesses require — on time, at the right total cost and value, aligned to company financial objectives. SS&P directly supports our manufacturing teams by executing prioritized, facility and business level strategies that capture the full value of what we buy. Within SS&P, the Strategy and Insights team plays a critical role in identifying and capturing value. This dynamic team is comprised of Finance, Market Insights, Data Analytics and Governance, Pricing, and RFx teams that support data-driven decisions that create lasting competitive advantage.What You Will DoProvide financial leadership and analytical support for key sourcing & procurement decisionsPartner with others to identify high-value initiatives in support of business goals.Perform robust marginal analysis and financial modeling quickly to evaluate a high volume of opportunities; incorporate AI to processes to provide additional analytical rigor and ensure optimal economic outcomesTranslate complex analyses into clear recommendations to foster alignment and action.Design, execute, and champion financial processes and reporting, including deployment of AI-related toolsProvide coaching and training to elevate economic thinking and decision quality across SS&P.Build strong partnerships across the company to align SS&P efforts with business prioritiesBuild a network of relationships with Finance, Operations, and Business leaders across the company to understand business priorities.Work closely with SS&P leaders and teams to ensure SS&P efforts are strategically aligned with business priorities.Align with other finance teams on SS&P value creation goals and progress tracking.Lead SS&P financial reporting processesOwn the end-to-end process for SS&P’s existing monthly financial reporting.Continuously improve reporting processes to enhance speed, accuracy, and transparency, most notable through deployment of AI-related toolsWork with stakeholders to design, implement, and champion new financial reporting.Mentor and develop junior finance staff who support tactical reporting and analyses.Advance our Principle-Based Management culture by applying and reinforcing the company’s Core Values and Principles.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Career experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, or procurement finance rolesDemonstrated ability to frame ambiguous problems and build rigorous financial models that inform decisionsTrack record of partnering cross-functionally to identify opportunities and influence decisionsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for presenting information in a clear, audience-appropriate wayWorking knowledge of AI-enabled productivity and analytical tools and the judgement to deploy them appropriatelyWhat Will Put You AheadMBA or degree in finance, economics, or quantitative disciplineExperience leading within complex, matrixed organizations and collaborating with senior executivesDemonstrated ability to operate effectively in high-velocity environmentsBackground in strategic sourcing & procurement and/or manufacturingExperience applying AI to finance-specific workflowsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
