About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 4:1 Description: Job start date is ASAP. First-time travelers are welcome. Weekend requirement is 3 out of 6. No more than 7 days of requested time off. Travelers will cover the observation unit, which includes ER hold patients. Call is not required. Travelers will float as necessary within the hospital. The facility can accommodate neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The average daily census is 105 patients, and the facility handles approximately 135 visits per day. The unit has 20 rooms and 26 beds. Preferred experience includes community hospital experience. Participants must be willing to get TNCC certification prior to starting if not held already. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. All travelers are expected to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. All certifications must be provided during the compliance process. References are required covering the last year. Please note that communication devices may be provided by the client at no cost.
