About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: CA state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 4 - Ability to float as needed - Willingness to cover the Observation Unit Description: Start date is ASAP. First-time travelers are welcome. Weekend requirement is 3 out of 6. There are 135 visits per day and an average daily census of 105. The facility has 20 rooms and 26 beds. Travelers will cover ER hold patients in the Observation Unit. Call is not required. No more than 7 days of restricted time off is allowed. Travelers may expect to float between facilities as needed. Participants must hold valid certifications in specified areas. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Valid CA license is required at the time of submission. Two references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are needed prior to start. All communication devices required for performing duties will be supplied where necessary. Housing options should be considered prior to arrival, as availability may be limited. Modules may require completion and are self-reported for record-keeping.
