Job Description:

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic at Global Truck Repair, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks and trailers. Your role will involve diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring all trucks comply with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance standards.
• Replace or repair faulty parts and components.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Work with diagnostic tools and software to identify issues.
• Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited automotive or diesel mechanic program (preferred).
• ASE certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Proven experience as a truck mechanic with a strong understanding of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• English/ Spanish speakers encouraged
