Diesel Truck Mechanic

Job Description
We have several openings available for Experienced Diesel Mechanics in the Linden, NJ area to perform repairs on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and buses. Technicians should have 3 - 5 years of experience performing diesel repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
•Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.

• Perform routinemaintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filterreplacements, and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internalengine components, transmission repairs, and rebuilds.

•Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy-duty vehicles and trailers
•Use computer diagnostic equipment.

• Conduct inspections andtests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate recordsof all maintenance and repair work performed.

Qualifications:

• 3 -5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic
• Cumminscertification is nice to have, but not a requirement.
• Provenexperience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of dieselengine systems and components.
• Proficiencywith diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strongproblem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellentcommunication and organizational skills.

Compensation:

$68,000 - $79,000 annually

Shift: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday
