Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Production Operators for the night shift. You will rotate between different machinery and roles on the plant floor, ensuring that machines operate smoothly without any issues.
Responsibilities

• Load and unload fiberglass.
• Operate winding and unwinding machinery, and manage the dip station.
• Stack rolls using the hilo.
• Apply wrap on the rolls.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing floor or machine operating role.
• Experience with manual machinery, excluding assembly tasks.
• Consistent work history with at least 2 years at each role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Production experience.
• Machine operation skills.
• General labor expertise.
• Assembly and packaging knowledge.
• Loading skills.

Work Environment
The facility maintains cleanliness higher than most in the industry, although there is a slight chemical odor similar to paint. Expect hot conditions in the summer and cold in the winter, with some dustiness during shifts. The role requires being on your feet for the entire shift and staying in the same area for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
