What you'll do

Financial accuracy & compliance: Maintain precise ledgers and supporting documents; ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Closings & reconciliations: Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closings, reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure complete documentation.
Reporting & analysis: Prepare financial statements and management reports; monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Budgeting & planning support: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
AP/AR & payroll assistance: Process accounts payable/receivable transactions; support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Tax & audit coordination: Maintain tax records, support tax filings, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
Process improvement: Recommend enhancements to financial processes, reporting workflows, and internal controls.

What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Analytical thinker with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
Clear written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism and integrity with confidential information

Preferred skills

Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Knowledge of tax compliance and local regulatory requirements
Professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus
