Entry Level CNC Machinist

Job Description

A world leader in their industry is seeking an Entry Level CNC Machinist for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Norton, MA.

Responsibilities of Entry Level CNC Machinist:

-Set-up and operate CNC machine

-interpret drawings, manuals, and other job specifications

-Determine correct dimensions and tolerances for finished pieces, sequence of operations and set-up requirements for CNC machines

-Perform inspections to detect any malfunctions or out of tolerance machining

-Load/unload parts from machines

-Make adjustments to machine as needed to ensure tolerances and dimensions are met

-Perform routine and preventative maintenance

-Maintain a clean and safe work environment

-Complete other related tasks as assigned

Requirement of Entry Level CNC Machinist

-Previous manufacturing experience required

-CNC Machine operation experience a plus

-Great attention to detail

-Mechanically inclined

-Basic math skills

-Able to read blueprint, geometric tolerances, and other instructions

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Adaptable to a changing work environment

Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday OR

3rd Shift: 10:45pm-6:30am Sunday-Thursday

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr based on experience + shift differential
