Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Command Post Driver in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
- Monitor communication systems, receive and document calls for service, and dispatch personnel to incidents, alarms, and/or routine requests in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications to support awareness of security-related conditions, access concerns, and/or response actions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations by gathering relevant information, coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders, and relaying updates as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential policy violations for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
