Flex Security Officer - 1st Shift - $21.10/hr

Job Overview Sunstates Security is hiring a Flex-Time (as-needed) Security Officer in the Wilmington/New Castle, DE area. The position covers 1st shift, 8 am to 4 pm, Monday–Friday (hours may vary). Pay is $21.10 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities Perform security duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures. Work shifts as assigned, including short‑notice coverage for ill or absent guards. Maintain knowledge of CCTV and security monitor systems. Adapt to varying schedules and locations based on operational need. Qualifications Valid Delaware Unarmed Security Officer license (Yellow Card). Minimum 6 months of security experience with computer knowledge. Excellent customer service skills. Reliable transportation to and from work. Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred. Education & Certification High School diploma or equivalent. Delaware Security License (Yellow Card). Scheduling Expectations Trained at multiple posts/files based on need; assignments are temporary. Schedule varies; may be called with short notice. Work any advance‑scheduled shift that falls within your stated availability. Expect to accept at least 80% of short‑notice shifts; refusing more than 20% may affect employment.
