Ultrasound Technologist - ARDMS

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular studies, while adhering to established protocols.
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain high-quality imaging through proper technique and routine maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients about the ultrasound process and address any questions or concerns they may have.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited program.
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification.
Valid state licensure to practice in Illinois.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound techniques, safety protocols, and patient care practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
