Field Reimbursement Manager, Oncology

Field-based reimbursement manager supporting oncology providers in the Boston or Albany region. The role focuses on educating healthcare providers on patient access programs, specialty pharmacy networks, and payer policies while managing key accounts and reporting market trends.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and specialty pharmacy access options
• Advise providers on national and regional payer policies, coding updates, and claims submission
• Collaborate with internal oncology teams on key account management and relationship building
• Report payer trends and market intelligence to patient services and managed care teams
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and healthcare policy developments

Requirements

• Oncology or hematology-oncology experience preferred
• Understanding of medical benefit reimbursement, coding, billing, prior authorization, and claims processes
• Knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and associated reimbursement dynamics
• Ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements across care settings
• Bachelor's degree and valid driver's license
• HCIR credentialing eligibility (background check, immunization verification, state/local licenses)
