School-Based Social Worker - Ann Arbor, Michigan

Qualifications and Credentials:

• Master's degree in Social Work required
• Active SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work OR MDE School Social Worker Credential
• Relevant experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, collaborative, and committed to fostering student success
• Ability to work full-time during standard school hours, onsite at school locations
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services and interventions to students
• Support social-emotional learning, behavioral, and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to address student needs
• Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and provide required documentation
• Serve as a resource connecting families to community programs and supports
• Advocate for students' well-being and equitable access to education
