College Intern

Wilson & Company is looking for a College Intern focused on Transportation Engineering to join our Salina, KS office. As an Intern in our office:You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.You’ll be an active member of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.Required Skills:Civil Engineering student with an interest in a Transportation Engineering career, such as highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, and traffic engineering. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on a number of these as an employee.Highly responsible and dependable.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic.Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.Required Qualifications:Currently a Civil Engineering student with an interest in Transportation Engineering.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment.
