Associate Director, Global Medical Neuroscience, Psychiatry

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director to develop and execute global medical strategies in psychiatry and schizophrenia. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with medical, commercial, and regulatory teams to advance disease area initiatives and support clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Medical Matrix Team activities and develop disease area and product-aligned medical plans
- Partner with stakeholders on medical activities including labeling, safety surveillance, and clinical trial communications
- Identify and engage thought leaders in psychiatry to translate key insights into medical strategies
- Coordinate clinical trial results, treatment guidelines, and data communication with internal teams
- Serve as internal disease expert providing input on communication tools and commercialization integration
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD) in scientific discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years pharmaceutical development experience in life sciences or biopharmaceuticals
- Strong understanding of biopharma drug development and commercialization processes
- Experience in clinical research, development, or medical affairs in psychiatry/neurology preferred
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to perform strategic assessments
- Project and portfolio management experience with strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence across organizational levels
Compensation: $166,350-$201,571 base
