We are a busy, established boutique private-pay counseling practice for women and girls in Southern Maryland. We are a group of kick-butt women who have been through some stuff and want to help other women get through theirs. We believe that "your story is our story" and that women need a connection to heal. We are hiring those who believe in our mission.

We are excitedly looking for local licensed social workers or counselors (LMSW, LCSW-Cs, or LGPC, LCPC's) for our Dunkirk office, located at 2972 Penwick Lane, Suite 101. We provide free supervision to provisionally licensed therapists who are with us seeing a minimum of 5 clients per week. The right candidate must have the desire and passion to work, specifically with adult women. Our LGBTQ+ community wants to be part of a growing team of supportive women. (Currently, we are not considering submissions from those who own their own practices.)

This employee-based (W2) position offers a very competitive fee-per-session pay in a strictly self-pay practice (so no dealing with insurance), with the ability to set your hours in collaboration with our needs. This flexibility allows you to work around your  life, being part of a nurturing, family-focused team of supportive women, administrative support, and mentoring.  We are offering free supervision to provisionally licensed applicants!

We require that you work at least a minimum of ( ten ) hours a week, and you must be able to see clients in person 1 to 2 evenings a week, with the ability to work up to full-time, which is 20-25 sessions a week, based on what schedule you’d like to keep. You  MUST be able to be on time and work independently. Employee benefits such as 401(k) gifts, CEU stipend, paid time off, and bonus programs are part of our package.

We are only seeking applicants who live within a half-hour of our office.

Compensation:

$52 - $72 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy to girls starting at age 8, teen girls & adult women, in person at our Dunkirk location
• Freedom to work when you want to work (based on office availability)
• Complete all notes and clinical requirements for each session
• Connect with the client above and beyond what is considered typical in this field
• Be able to work autonomously and reliably
• Be conscientious about your notes and clinical work
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid model when needed
• Documentation is minimal. We are a paperless practice

Qualifications:

• Must have a Maryland clinical license: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC

• Must not own your own practice or work for another group practice

• Must not live more than thirty minutes away from our Dunkirk location

• Be proficient in Apple products, as we use iPads in our offices

• Be able to work independently and be on time for each session

• Should have a sparkly personality and be interested in building a connection with clients

• Have experience working with girls, women, and our LGBTQ+ community

• Be passionate about women's issues, be affirming and accepting of all people

• Be able to work in a hybrid model

We have 3 locations in Maryland and can also see clients with our hybrid option for Washington DC and Virginia residents.
