About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Sales & Account Management to lead and drive all broker sales and account management activities. This senior leadership role is pivotal in owning the distribution sales strategy, transitioning the sales organization to a more proactive model, and expanding the company's active distribution footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales leadership, revenue growth, account management, team building, and contributing to the company's growth roadmap. A hands-on approach is essential, as is the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Candidates for the VP, Sales & Account Management position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in sales and account management within the health insurance distribution space, with a focus on the individual and small group health market. The role requires a self-starter with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, strong relationships with brokers, general agents, and consultants, and a deep understanding of the U65/non-ACA insurance market. Experience in short-term medical products, ancillary health products, and FMO/IMO recruiting and management is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and relationship builder, with a background in a growth-stage or entrepreneurial environment.
