Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical / Secure Unit within a large academic hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Candidates with only 1 year of experience must achieve a passing score on a required competency test (administered within 24 hours of submission)
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a secure or behavioral health adjacent unit
• Demonstrated ability to float to additional units within a large hospital environment
