Sea Tow Jacksonville is seeking a part- to full-time licensed boat captain to join our team providing marine assistance throughout the Jacksonville area.
To qualify, you must hold at least an OUPV Near Coastal Operator’s License with a Towing Endorsement and be eligible to participate in our random drug testing program .
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience operating small boats
- A flexible schedule and willingness to work varied hours
- Basic knowledge of boat mechanics
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
- Comfort using an iPad and computer for dispatch and reporting
We’re a 24/7 operation , and your schedule may include on-shift pay or on-call coverage assisting boaters with:
- Towing and ungroundings
- Fuel delivery and battery jumps
- Salvage operations when vessels are taking on water
Diving experience is a plus, but not required.
You’ll work closely with our team of captains to ensure full coverage of the service area. Compensation is based on experience , with opportunities for incremental raises. A detailed job description, including salary range and duties, will be provided upon application.
