Title
Postpartum RN - Nights

Schedule
Shift options: 36 or 48 hours
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every 3rd weekend

Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state or Compact
- BLS certification
- AWHONN certification
- NRP certification
- FHM certification (preferred)
- 2 years of experience preferred (not required)
- Charge experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients, including those with high-risk conditions.
- Perform assessments and establish care plans for postpartum patients.
- Manage maternal care, including postpartum hemorrhage and VBAC management.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and identify/treat abnormal patterns.
- Assist with labor interventions and support breastfeeding/lactation.
- Educate patients and families regarding discharge instructions and couplet care.

Compliance / Notes
- Return-to-office/location must be listed at the time of submittal.
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccine status is required.
- Orientation/modules will be completed onsite and travelers are expected to float as needed.
