Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creation of assigned journal entries using all available information
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts on a monthly basis and review activity for appropriateness. Including resolving discrepancies and performing root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
• Provide ad hoc account analysis, including forecasting
• Identify and explain balance sheet and income statement variances to budgeted / forecasted / expected
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close process
• Assist with the generation of monthly internal and external financial reporting
• Provide support with internal and external audit requests
• Develop and maintain process and control documentation over assigned areas
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Competencies/Skills Required

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and ability to analyze accounts and variances
• Proficiency in Excel and Word

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail

Education/Experience Required

• B.S. Degree in Accounting finance, or other acceptable related experience required.
• 3-5 years' experience in public accounting or 3 years' industry experience.

Work Schedule

Anticipated hours are:

Monday – Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Standard hybrid work schedule with the ability to work remote Monday and Friday

Pay and Benefits

Salary Range: $83,000 - $95,000 DOE (this position is exempt)
