Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member

As an Account Manager for Craig Vickers - State Farm Agent, you'll help drive the growth of our agency while ensuring a high level of customer service and support. You'll build meaningful relationships, identify opportunities to help new and existing customers, and partner with our team to connect customers with the right insurance and financial protection solutionsguided by integrity, care, and a client-first mindset. This role is focused on new customer acquisition. You'll primarily support inbound calls and online requests, welcoming prospective customers into the Craig Vickers State Farm experience. Your goal is to help each customer feelimmediatelythat they called the right place by providing a differentiated, confidence-building experience from the very first conversation.

Responsibilities include:

• Answer inbound calls and respond to online customer requests promptly and professionally
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including support with: insurance availability and eligibility, coverage explanations and recommendations, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and service requests, billing questions, and service needs
• Proactively market and recommend relevant products and services based on customer needs
• Prospect for new customers through outreach, lead follow-up, referrals, and other assigned activities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
• Promote long-lasting customer relationships through excellent communication and reliability
• Coordinate with internal agency teams to ensure timely, organized customer support
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, activities, and results (as required)

Qualifications include:

• Sales experience preferred (outside sales, inside sales, sales representative, retail sales, telemarketing, or similar)
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Strong relationship-building skills and genuine customer empathy
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
• Dedicated to customer service and able to anticipate customer needs
• Ability to clearly connect with customers and build trust
• Experience managing client relationships is a plus

This role also benefits from confidence in discussing liability and asset protection needs, along with a foundational understanding of financial planning and protection for families and their futures. You don't need to know everything on day onebut you should be willing to learn, improve, and consistently work toward mastery.

Compensation starts with a $55,000 base salary, along with commission/bonus opportunities. When executed at a high levelfocusing on customer needs and achieving agency expectationsearnings are expected to reach $65,000+, with potential for significantly more based on the depth of customer conversations and your effort.

You'll receive ongoing training and coaching from experienced leaders in the industry. We invest in helping you master the fundamentalshow to conduct great insurance conversations, build trust through needs-based recommendations, and deliver consistent service excellence. You'll have clear guidance, practical tools, and support to help you grow with confidence.
