About the role

Provide multi-skilled technical leadership that will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace facility and operations equipment, components, and systems.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate with Maintenance Team Resource Manager (TRM) to lead the maintenance repair on assigned lines.

• Monitor maintenance response time and initiate improvement plans when necessary.

• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to internal teams.

• Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures (e.g., safety, quality, sanitation, good manufacturing policies, lean manufacturing, and other plant programs).

• Communicate, interact, and follow up with co-workers to build and maintain positive employee partnerships.

• Determine root cause of equipment failure and implement improvement plans.

• Determine the best way to accomplish maintenance tasks while limiting disruption to production.

• Standardizing/Center lining for packaging line equipment.

The experience we're looking for

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I:

• Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high-speed packaging equipment preferred.

• Consistently meets and occasionally exceeds production goals in a safe manner that emphasizes quality to our customers.

• Strong facilities maintenance background desired; Welding and Machining is a plus.

• Application and facilitation of continuous improvement tools (e.g., TPM, 5S, FMEA).

• Experience with, PVC piping, copper piping, water and air systems, fabrications, pump rebuild, pump change outs, filter change outs, and valve and valve change outs
