We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front desk operations for a contract position based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and organized office environment. The position is well suited for someone who is comfortable managing a quiet reception area while staying attentive, responsive, and service-focused throughout the day.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors upon arrival and provide courteous assistance at the front desk.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain an orderly reception area and ensure the front entrance reflects a welcoming image.
• Respond to general questions from guests, employees, and callers in a helpful and timely manner.
• Monitor front desk activity throughout the shift, even during periods of limited visitor traffic.
• Record and relay messages accurately to support smooth communication across the office.
• Provide light administrative support related to daily reception coverage as needed.• Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk support role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone or switchboard system with confidence.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills when assisting visitors and callers.
• Detail-oriented demeanor and dependable attendance in an on-site office setting.
• Ability to remain attentive, organized, and productive in a lower-traffic environment.
• Basic administrative and message-handling skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Flexibility to work in a part-time reception capacity if required.
