Dialysis Nurse

Independent Dialysis Foundation Inc. (IDF) is a Maryland non‑profit dialysis company with more than 45 years of experience in delivering quality patient care and career satisfaction for clinicians. Our administrators are Dialysis RNs, and most of our talented staff have been with IDF for an average of 20 years. We have both full‑time (and part‑time) RN positions available. Join us in our Prince Frederick 15‑station dialysis clinic, which is open Monday through Saturday. Full‑time staff are scheduled 36‑40 hours per week. Responsibilities The RN provides hemodialysis treatments to renal‑failure patients in accordance with IDF policies and procedures and all regulatory agencies. Administers patient care in a safe, confidential, respectful manner. Performs nursing tasks as ordered by the physician or assigned by the Charge RN. Applies interpersonal relationship skills and assists other interdisciplinary team members. Accountable for all delegated nursing care activities, assessments, interventions, and ongoing evaluation of the patient's response to the nursing plan of care. Performs and documents patient observations and data collections accurately, timely, and legibly in the electronic medical record. Responds appropriately to visual and audible alarms of the dialysis machine and other ancillary equipment. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. Dialysis experience a plus; new graduates are welcome and will receive training. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to document care accurately.
