Nurse Next Door has the perfect opportunity for you!Nurse Next Door is dedicated to delivering flexible, premium care options to help seniors stay at home, because we know home is the safest place to be.We Make Lives Better every day for our team members through our People Promise.We are hiring for Caregivers at Nurse Next Door to serve our clients located in Placerville, CA.Compensation: $19-$20/hour Employment type: part-time/weekdays/weekendsBenefits:Paid Training - Virtual / Online Classes1.5x Overtime / Holiday PayMileage ReimbursementWhat we offer:Competitive WagesFlexible Hours (Set your own schedule/availability)Caregiver Referral BonusesWork close to homeOpportunities for Growth within the company24/7 Caregiver Support TeamPPE supplies provided if needed - masks (required), face shields, gowns, and glovesResponsibilities & Duties:Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing and dressing;Assisting clients in and out of bed, transfers, positioning and assisting with ambulation;Assisting with exercises as appropriate to meet the client's needs;Meal planning and preparation, and assisting clients with eating;Assisting clients to the bathroom or in using commodes, bedpans or urinals and incontinence care;Companionship & performing household services including light housekeeping, laundry, transportation, correspondence, making telephone calls, shopping for personal care items or groceries;Assisting clients with medications which are ordinarily self-administered;Reporting changes in the client's condition and needs to the administrator; andCompleting records regarding services performed.Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of CA. Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.Requirements:At least 18 years of age.1 Year Caregiving Experience (preferred)Completion of a criminal background checkEvidence of tuberculosis testing and verification that the caregiver does not have active tuberculosis.Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.Valid driver's license and auto insurance and/or reliable transportation.HCA (Preferred)Hours Per Week:Full-time & Part-timePay:$19-$20 per hourWork Location:In Person.Apply now to learn more about how Nurse Next Door can help you as an essential worker.
