This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Occupational Therapist ready to support school communities near Maricopa, AZ. You’ll have the chance to collaborate district-wide, using your expertise to enhance student development and participation through both in-person and teletherapy services.

Key skills and experience desired:

• Active OT license and eligibility for Arizona school-based practice
• Prior experience in school settings or with COTA collaboration
• Proficiency in delivering teletherapy services as needed
• Strong background supporting fine and gross motor skills in children
• Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions
• Comfort working with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, resourceful, and organized approach to caseload management
• Excellent communication and record-keeping capabilities
• Passion for empowering students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive OT assessments and individualized therapy
• Designing interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills for academic success
• Supporting students across multiple schools within the district
• Documenting student progress and contributing to IEP meetings
• Consulting with teachers and staff for classroom modifications and accommodations
• Leading and guiding COTAs as appropriate
