Step into a fulfilling position working alongside passionate educators and dedicated support staff, providing physical therapy services to elementary-aged students. You’ll play a crucial role in helping young learners achieve milestones, overcome challenges, and reach their potential within an engaging and supportive school environment.
In this contract role, you’ll enjoy regular daytime hours, partnering with families, teachers, and school teams to deliver evidence-based interventions and document student progress. With a clear schedule set from August 2026 through June 2027, you’ll have the satisfaction of making a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Massachusetts PT License (required)
- Experience, coursework, or strong interest in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
- Collaborative communication style and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for a broad range of student needs and abilities
- Commitment to best practices, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate elementary students’ motor and functional needs in a school setting
- Create, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Monitor progress and modify interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goals
