Sr Director, Market & Competitive Intelligence

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director, Market & Competitive Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will shape the strategy and execution of a new intelligence function that informs go-to-market decisions across the business. The role will partner closely with executive leadership, marketing, sales, product, and data science teams to turn market signals, customer insights, and competitive data into actionable direction. This person will also build the team, define the operating model, and elevate how the organization measures market position and marketing effectiveness. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 annually Responsibilities Build and manage the competitive intelligence program, including profiles and battlecards Lead market intelligence efforts, including TAM analysis and industry trend assessments Develop the enterprise Voice of Customer capability and win/loss programs Design and maintain customer segmentation frameworks for go-to-market teams Own the marketing effectiveness measurement framework, focusing on predictive intelligence Collaborate with Data Science on AI models for churn prediction and customer lifetime value Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on market and competitive insights Integrate competitive insights into sales training and measure impact on win rates Recruit and lead a high-performing team of analysts Qualifications 10+ years in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, insights, analytics, product marketing, or corporate strategy 3+ years leading intelligence or strategy teams B2B SaaS experience preferred; IT management or cybersecurity background is a plus Proven track record in building or scaling intelligence functions Hands-on experience with customer segmentation and win/loss analysis Exceptional analytical skills to synthesize data into actionable insights Strong communication skills for presenting to C-level executives Cross-functional leadership ability to influence across teams Benefits High visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to build and shape a new intelligence function Influence over strategic decisions impacting company direction Access to cutting-edge tools and methodologies in market intelligence Support for professional development and team growth Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
