Operations Maintenance Coordinator

An established manufacturing organization is seeking an Operations Maintenance Coordinator to support the safety, reliability, and performance of a large-scale production operation.

This position works closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, and outside service partners to coordinate priorities, improve equipment performance, and minimize unplanned downtime. It is a visible role for someone who combines hands-on industrial knowledge with strong planning, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize daily and weekly maintenance activities
• Serve as a key connection between operations, maintenance, reliability, and external vendors
• Support the planning and execution of scheduled maintenance outages
• Help ensure preventive and predictive maintenance work is completed effectively
• Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot equipment and reliability concerns
• Monitor maintenance costs, forecasts, and improvement opportunities
• Lead cross-functional work groups and reinforce established maintenance practices
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Participate in periodic weekend maintenance coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial maintenance experience
• Eight or more years of operations or maintenance experience within manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning
• Experience coordinating maintenance teams, skilled trades, contractors, or planners
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems and work management processes
• Ability to organize competing priorities and communicate effectively across departments
• Strong safety mindset with a practical, collaborative leadership style
