White Point Care Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in San Pedro. We are looking to hire a Director of Nursing.

The Director of Nursing Services will report to the Administrator.

Your job involves managing nursing personnel, setting standards, budgeting, coordinating care, and staying ahead of the nursing game. Plus, you'll be the go-to person for all things nursing, from developing policies to rocking quality assurance programs.

Rate is negotiable.

To be considerd for this role, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must hold current registration in the state of intended practice.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Membership in a professional organization is advantageous.
• Background in nursing within a healthcare agency is preferred.
• Previous administrative or supervisory nursing experience or completing a college course in management principles is desirable.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
• Work experience in Geriatric, Rehabilitation, or Psychiatric Nursing is necessary.
• Specialized training in restorative Nursing Measures is highly valued.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Possesses effective communication skills.
• Positive character and performance should be reflected in all reference verifications.

• Holds administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for nursing service personnel.
• Develops and manages nursing service objectives, standards, and policies.
• Recommends staffing levels and assists in selection, training, and supervision.
• Plans, budgets, and coordinates nursing care.
• Collaborates with medical staff in developing resident care policies.
• Participates in Resident Care Committees.
• Coordinates nursing services with other care departments.
• Establishes systems for resident care assessment and planning.
• Maintains and monitors documentation according to regulations.
• Participates in quality assurance programs.
• Stays informed about long-term care nursing trends.
