Duties
- Manage a portfolio of cases and provide strategic legal advice.
- Oversee all phases of litigation and dispute resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Participate in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate on case strategy.
- Engage with clients to assess risks and develop solutions.
- Handle complex labor and employment matters.
- Contribute to firm development and client relations.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in law with significant experience in complex matters.
- Expertise in labor and employment law, including compliance and workplace disputes.
- Advanced research skills for case law and legal precedents.
- Proven negotiation abilities in settlements and contracts.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant legal experience.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys is beneficial.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
