We are looking for a detail-oriented Policy Typist to support policy processing operations in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a Contract position requiring strong accuracy, steady productivity, and the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will handle policy-related data entry, respond to status questions professionally, and help keep files moving within established turnaround expectations.

Responsibilities:
• Enter and prepare a variety of policy documents in Ramquest with a high level of accuracy while meeting productivity and turnaround goals.
• Record incoming check receipts in the system and verify information carefully to maintain complete and accurate file documentation.
• Monitor pending files through the Ramquest dashboard, organize follow-up activities, and help drive matters through to completion on schedule.
• Keep the supervisor informed of current workload, open items, and any issues that may affect deadlines or service levels.
• Respond professionally to questions from clients and internal team members, providing timely updates on file progress and next steps.
• Evaluate incoming requests to determine priority, address routine matters directly, and escalate issues when additional support is needed.
• Prepare files for transmittal to the state office within required timeframes and in accordance with applicable compliance standards.
• Support additional policy-related requests for agents and internal staff, maintain accurate system records, and assist with other duties assigned by leadership.• Prior experience in data entry, policy processing, administrative support, or a similar office-based role.
• Ability to type accurately and maintain consistent productivity in a deadline-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review information carefully and minimize errors.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal staff and external contacts.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks, manage pending items, and follow through on time-sensitive work.
• Experience using business systems or databases; familiarity with Ramquest is a plus.
• Availability to work on a permanent basis with occasional overtime as needed.
