Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Cardiac Recovery Nurses!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team specializing in pre and post-operative recovery of cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology patients.
- Play a crucial role in assisting with bedside procedures in the ISSU.
- Flexibility required with standby 4 days a month.
- Work schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
- Experience the excitement of working in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements:


- State license, ACLS, and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of pre and post-interventional procedural care experience.
- Background in ICU or ER with confirmed crisis management expertise in the care of cardiac patients.

Skills:


- Proficient in arterial line and IV management.
- Skilled in BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula management.
- Experience with blood product administration and care of ventilated patients.
- Competence in central line management, chest tube care, and telemetry monitoring.
- Knowledge of procedural sedation administration and monitoring, as well as post-cardiac care.
- Strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.

Unit Details:


- Interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
- Daily patient census of 15 with a patient ratio of 3-4.
- Engage with diverse patient diagnoses including CAD, CA, HTN, and trauma.

Additional Information:


- Candidates may float within the hospital as needed.
- 2 supervisor references preferred for submission.
- Valid CA license required upon submission.
- 75-mile radius rule applicable.
