Job Description Temp to Hire: Pay: $17 - $21 per hours Must be able to work 7am - 3:30pm for the 1st 6 weeks. permanent shift after 6 weeks: 3pm - 12:30am. Location: Katy, TX Position Summary The Line Assembly Operator is responsible for performing hands-on assembly tasks on a production line to manufacture high quality products safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This role supports daily production goals, ensures product consistency, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Assemble components and products according to standardized work instructions. • Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment as required. • Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. • Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met. • Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the Line Lead immediately. • Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies. • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. • Keep workstations organized and contribute to 5S/lean manufacturing initiatives. • Assist team members and perform other duties off the assembly line as assigned to support production goals. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required: • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift, up to 50lbs. for extended periods. • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools safely. • Ability to follow instructions precisely. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
