Sr Python Developer

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable backend solutions supporting infrastructure autotfomation, load balancing plarms, and enterprise network services. This individual will play a critical role in building resilient APIs, automating operational processes, and developing cloud-ready applications that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability across the organization's technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python, Flask, FastAPI, and REST API development, along with experience building microservices, automation frameworks, and highly available distributed systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python. Build and support RESTful APIs leveraging Flask, FastAPI, and modern API development best practices. Develop automation solutions that streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, system monitoring, and network operations. Collaborate with network engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to build solutions supporting load balancers, application delivery infrastructure, and automated workflows. Design and implement microservices-based architectures that are resilient, secure, and highly available. Create reusable frameworks, libraries, and components to accelerate development and automation initiatives. Integrate backend services with internal tools, third-party platforms, cloud services, and infrastructure management systems. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and data access layers using relational and NoSQL databases. Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, CI/CD implementation, and release management processes. Document system architecture, API specifications, and operational procedures. Support production environments and assist with root cause analysis of application and infrastructure issues. Strong hands-on experience with Python development. Expertise building APIs using Flask and/or FastAPI. Experience designing and implementing RESTful services. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. Experience developing and supporting distributed systems or microservices architectures. Knowledge of API documentation standards such as Swagger/OpenAPI. Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. Familiarity with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
