Benefits Administrator

Benefits Administrator LHH Recruitment is partnering with a company near the Phoenix Airport who is in search of a benefits administrator to join their team! This position is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The salary range is between $65,000-$75,000 DOE.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs and ensuring a high level of service and support for employees. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing benefits and is highly proficient with HRIS systemsexperience with UKG is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and provide timely, accurate support
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication, system updates, and employee education
  • Maintain and update benefits data within HRIS systems (UKG strongly preferred)
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure accuracy of enrollments and deductions
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to resolve issues and improve plan offerings
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to benefits (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation related to benefits programs

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations
  • Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) highly preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
