Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in San Luis Obispo, California. Travel assignment begins 08/31/2026 for 10 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,521–$2,700 per week. Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: Rotating 8-hour shifts. The role focuses on perioperative care, supporting surgeons and anesthesia teams, coordinating equipment and staff, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative phase. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
- Coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff in the operating room
- Assure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care
- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of perioperative care and communicate with the team
- Uphold sterile technique and safety protocols throughout procedures

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week during a 10-week assignment
- Experience in the operating room or perioperative environment preferred
- Eligibility for travel assignment credentialing and background check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
