Production Control Technician

Production Control Technician Location: Anchorage, Alaska – Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Type: Non-Exempt Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift Compensation: $36.54 per hour Occupational description: The Production Control Technician ensures the effective and efficient execution of the end‑to‑end (E2E) work management and asset management processes, including work reception, client interface, PM generation, planning/scheduling integration, material integration, shop execution, reporting, asset data integration, and closeout. Responsibilities Maintain work orders and projects from receipt to completion in Maximo, including new work receipt, shop assignment, warranty validation, status updates, comments, liability, completion, and integration with Maximo/NexGen/Builder. Prepare workload, client deliverables, and other reports; check material status and requisitions; support planning and scheduling processes. Maintain asset data in Maximo, ensuring accurate inventory, new asset entries, updates, and integration with SMS BUILDER and GFEBS; handle PM assignment (PM, Job Plan, Inspections), PM generation and tracking. Maintain the warranty program, ensuring warranty data added to SKUMAX and issues identified, tracked, and completed. Maintain timely and effective DPW and customer communications, including routine and emergency work; assign a functional leader for incoming emergency work. Provide key reports and deliverables to DPW per contract, leveraging Power BI dashboards. Operate integration scripts (RPA) for client system integration. Assist employees to use time and performance efficiently and understand work tasks. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct. Provide accurate data to Shop Supervisors and Foremen. Qualifications Associate’s degree preferred. One (1) year of work order management experience required. Previous experience in maintenance production control, including materials and planning integration required. Knowledge and practical experience in operations, maintenance management, and CMMS preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC system clearances and a Secret clearance. Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical demands for extended periods, including lifting and moving up to 70 pounds. Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and repetitive motion for several hours. Standing or sitting for several hours, climbing in/out of vehicle, and up/down stairs. Perseverance under pressure for extended periods. Requirements Valid state driver’s license with ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance. REAL‑ID compliant driver’s license, or acceptable alternative (U.S. passport or military ID). Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. Background check and E‑Verify required.
