Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, and proficiency with precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Select, install, and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories as required.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and indicators.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Experience operating CNC milling machines ( Haas experience preferred ).
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and machine setup.
- Basic mathematical skills related to machining calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CNC programming experience is a plus.
