Quality Control Analyst

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Quality Control Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Holly Springs, NC, 27540. Details of the position are as follows:


Job Description:

• Pay: $25.00- $30.00/hr to start.
• 1 year contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
• Sunday- Wednesday, standard business hours, 1st shift.
• Position will mainly be responsible for performing critical QC Microbiology testing of raw materials, environmental monitoring samples, utilities, validation samples, and manufactured materials, ensuring samples are collected, tested, reviewed, and reported accurately and in compliance with quality, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
• Position will also be responsible for performing microbiological testing and associated activities in accordance with SOPs and protocols, developing and maintaining SOPs, developing technical expertise in assigned assays and techniques, and supporting method validation and method transfers.
• Responsibilities also include authoring laboratory investigations and invalid assay assessments, maintaining compliance with applicable legal, health and safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and error-free documentation, and working assigned shifts as needed to support operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience with environmental monitoring within a manufacturing setting is required.
• Experience with additional microbiology testing, academically or professionally (gram staining, bacterial identification, bioburden, endotoxin, sterility testing) is required.
• Experience tracking bacteria samples in LIMS or GIMS is preferred.
• Experience reviewing, creating, or approving SOPS's is preferred.
• Experience following aseptic manufacturing/ aseptic techniques is preferred.
