Hiring Coordinator and Backup Fund Monitor Position classification: Analyst II. Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00/month. Location: 100 S. Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. Under general direction of the Design Administration Manager, a Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs a wide variety of complex hiring‑related functions and other administrative services for the Division of Design in District 7. The incumbent works closely and coordinates with other professional staff, functional units, Headquarters (HQ), and supervisors within the division to complete and submit all personnel hiring process documentation. The incumbent also monitors and analyzes the division’s personnel allocation and service dollars. The incumbent is expected to perform full journey‑level work, exercise a high degree of initiative in performing assigned tasks, and be accountable for prompt and accurate work along with excellent customer service. Responsibilities Complete and submit all personnel hiring process documentation. Coordinate with professional staff, functional units, HQ, and supervisors. Monitor and analyze the division’s personnel allocation and service dollars. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Perform full journey‑level work and exercise high initiative. Qualifications Eligibility determined by score on the Analyst I or Analyst II exam. Current eligibility (transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) or be on the state examination list. Knowledge of personnel hiring processes and administrative services. Ability to analyze personnel allocation and service dollars. Strong communication skills with multiple levels of staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with e‑filing and handling confidential information. Working Conditions Work location: District 7 office. Climate‑controlled office; may require travel to project sites and exposure to dirt, noise, uneven surfaces, extreme heat or cold, and hazardous wastes. Telework: Hybrid; management discretion.
