IT Business Systems AdministratorLocation: 222 S Harbor Blvd, #720, Anaheim, CA 92805Salary: $80,000 - $100,000/yearPosition Type: Full-time, Exempt (Salaried), Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Hybrid after 90 days – 3 days in office/2 days remoteReports to: IT ManagerPosition Overview:DB Insurance is seeking a proactive and solutions-driven IT Business Systems Administrator to support core system operations and enterprise IT functions. This role involves maintaining key systems such as the Assure Policy platform, managing change requests, ensuring data privacy compliance, coordinating with vendors, supporting UAT, and handling incident resolution and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT operations within the insurance industry, experience with similar platforms, knowledge of data privacy regulations, and strong communication and coordination skills.Key Responsibilities:Enterprise Systems Administration: Actively utilize, manage, and maintain core operational platforms and insurance enterprise suites to ensure seamless integrationData Privacy Compliance: Ensure compliance with Americas' data privacy regulations (CCPA, NYDFS, etc.) and conduct regular audits.Change Management (PCR): Manage Project Change Requests (PCR) and provide technical support for new projects.Vendor Management: Handle technical communication and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management with external IT vendors, such as DXC.UAT Support: Support the stabilization of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during system updates and functional enhancements.Incident Management: Analyze root causes of system failures and manage resolution schedules.Documentation: Update and maintain system operation processes and security response manuals.Qualifications:Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT operations or core system management (3+ if within the insurance industry)Platform Knowledge: Experience operating Assure Policy, Assure Claims, Sapiens, or similar core insurance and business solution suites, such as:Guidewire Software (Guidewire Insurance Suite: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)Duck Creek Technologies (Duck Creek Suite: Policy, Billing, Claims)Majesco (Majesco P&C Core Suite)Compliance Understanding: Knowledge of data privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) and financial industry security regulations.Project Management: Proficiency in system change management and lifecycle management.Vendor Coordination: Ability to collaborate with external solution vendors and coordinate technical requirements.Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for collaborating with relevant departments (Accounting, Sales) and external partners.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office suite; strong software troubleshooting and resolution capabilities.Communication: Fluency in Korean is preferred in order to communicate with our headquarters in South Korea.Benefits:Medical (PPO), dental (PPO), vision (PPO), and life insurance covered 100% by the company and 50% for dependents4 weeks of annual paid time off13 annual paid holidays401(k) plan with up to 4% company match, vested immediatelyFlexible Spending Account (FSA) & Dependent Care FSAFringe Benefit reimbursementsJob-related training reimbursementCasual dress codeAbout Us At DB Insurance USA, we carry forward a legacy of excellence that began in South Korea in 1962 and expanded to the U.S. in 1984.
