Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday with rotation for one day of weekend coverage | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Evaluate and treat patients to restore function, improve mobility, and support recovery goals
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using Cerner and NetHealth EMR systems
• Provide occasional float coverage to MedSurg as needed (rare occurrence)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license — must be valid and in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner and NetHealth EMR platforms
• Ability to adhere to facility dress code (any scrub color, non-skid footwear required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
• Experience with MedSurg patient populations
